On the night of August 16th 2018, 36 year old Peruvian transgender sex worker, Vanesa Campos was brutally murdered in the Bois de Boulogne, Paris. On September 22nd (2018), a walk across Paris took place to pay tribute to the young woman. The march, bringing together hundreds of people including some of Vanesa’s friends and fellow sex workers, left from Place de la Republic and ended near the Centre Pompidou.
